We are growing!!!
We are very blessed to have the need to double our space and expand into another building in our same complex. The main reason we did this was to be able to continue to provide you, our families, the best medical care and customer service in the upstate.
Why call the buildings different names?
In order to direct you to the right location for your appointment we decided to give each building a "nickname." Our original building on the left is now referred to as our OAK Building. And our newest building which is located at the far right of the complex is called our ACORN Building.
How does it all work with the schedule?
Our providers see patients in both the Oak and Acorn buildings Monday through Fridays. Depending on their particular schedule, they will be in the Oak building for half of the day and the Acorn building for the other half of the day. Be sure to jot down which buidling your appointment is in when when calling the office.
How will we know what building to go to?
When calling to make your appointment, we will confirm with you the time, provider, and location of your visit. For visits scheduled a week or more in advance, we will mention this on your reminder call and through an email from the web portal a few days before your visit.
Web Portal?
Did you know our web portal sends you an email reminder for appointments that are scheduled in advance? These emails include the date, time, and location (the Oak or the Acorn building) of your upcoming appointment. If you are not signed up for the web portal, email us today so you can immediately have access to this secure option to view upcoming appointments, update your contact information, and even email your doctor - all at your convenience. For all web portal questions please email info@parksidepediatrics.com. We are always happy to help!
More about our OAK Building...
When you enter our complex, on the left is our OAK building. It is our original building where we continue to see patients for well and sick visits and weekend or after hours appointments. The Oak has separate well and sick waiting areas and even a newborn waiting area. This building holds our high tech CLIA and COLA certified lab, a procedure room (for all those cuts and scrapes), and a conference room for parent only appointments. We also have a lactation suite available to moms who need a comfortable and calm place to feed baby before or after visits. If you ever need to pick up any communication such as a school excuse, this is the place.
And our ACORN Building...
When you enter the complex, turn right and go to the last building for appointments in our ACORN building. Also known as the Newborn and Wellness Center, at the Acorn Building, we see all of our tiny newborns and many of our well child appointments as well. We have a separate newborn waiting area and Nursing Nook available for those times before and after appointments. This is also the location for our classes that are available to our parents and community. Be on the look-out for many more classes that will be offered for you here at our Acorn building.
